I love cake smash sessions. What’s more fun than celebrating a toddler’s first birthday? Mom and dad (and grandparents and siblings too) are excited to mark the first year, and everyone is joyful and relaxed. Even when the birthday babe isn’t having anything to do with the cake, they are still a ton of fun for me to do and a ton of fun for moms and dads (and grandparents, and siblings) to watch. Here, the first taste of sugar brought squeals of delight, and the birthday boy seemed to enjoy every bit of his cake. Now, the clean up bath afterwards, he wasn’t so sure about!
