4/52 – The face says it all. Another loss. This time he was uncharacteristically down about it. Usually he gets frustrated, but it blows over. Today it was something else. Even the chocolate marble doughnut (a rare treat) didn’t cheer him up. Instead, he sat and picked at it for a long time, before finally turning to me and asking if it was ok if we just went home.
