11/53 – My older girl on our mama and Isobel girl day, approving where the aesthetician is about to pierce her ears.  She’s been waiting, mostly patiently, for (at least) the last two years to be allowed to get them done on the occasion of her 9th birthday.  And I have to admit: I was over the top excited for her.  In her own words: “I was really excited and sort of scared too.  Ok, definitely scared.  And it hurt, but the pain was totally worth it.  I got to choose my earrings and I love them!”
