44/52 – We all went to Drysdale tree farm about 90 minutes north of our house on Saturday morning to cut down our own tree. It’s always a bit of tension mixed in with a lot of fun (think National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation) made perfect with a lot of snow. But this year it was warm and muddy and so we passed on the “trudging through the bush” tradition and chose one of their pre-cuts. We came back with this little guy – skinny but full (an oxymoron if there ever was one). It’s not decorated yet, but it’s up and the lights are on it (my least favourite part of decorating). Can’t wait to see it in all of its glory later this week.
