There is nothing like the anticipation of a new baby. Particularly a first child! This sweet mommy and daddy to be were glowing with excitement when they came to me to have their portraits taken. Mom to be is like a little sister to me, and I’m so excited for her as she eagerly awaits their daughter’s safe arrival.
These portraits were taken the day of the Toronto ice storm and subsequent power outages – a grey, cloudy day with inches of ice and snow covering the skylights in my usually light filled shooting space. We made the best of it though, and I’m pleased that the weather didn’t dampen their spirits or a fun session. Can’t wait to meet you soon little one!
