20/52 – A selfie of me and my littlest this morning taken with my “big camera” when she crawled into bed with me, early morning at the cottage today.
What is it about kiddos that draws them to “mama and papa’s bed”? Is it the bigger size? The warmth of not yet unoccupied linens? Or the security in knowing that mom and dad are near by? Whatever it is, I was happy to welcome this one in. She’s still my cuddle monster but I know these days are fleeting ones. It’s moments like this that remind me to pause for a moment, embrace a slower pace, and live in the moment. The to do list will get done. Later.
