26/52 – A confession: this picture was not taken by me and it was not taken on a Saturday morning. But it is of one of my children (my oldest) and me, and it was taken last Saturday afternoon as we were about to leave for the wedding of one of his best friend’s dad. Thirty minutes before my husband snapped this, my son and I were both in sweats and desperately searching for his dress shirt and tie. Alas, in the chaos of our home reno, the shirt was nowhere to be found. We made do with this madras plaid, sans tie. He insisted he looked “bad” all night.  But I think he looked great. And once again, I saw a glimpse of the young man he is becoming.
