20150802-TDB_1014-Edit31/52 –  Full confession: I have a love/hate relationship with Lego. As a mom, I know I’m supposed to love that it promotes creativity, and unplugged play. And I do. But I hate that it creeps all over the house and cottage, that I step on it in bare feet, and that it doesn’t stay together better. I know, I know: the point is that it is to come apart, but it comes apart TOO easily sometimes. Which can lead to full out fits in my household because sometimes eight and four year olds just don’t have the patience to work through it all again. So, when such a fit occurred this morning, I, once again, ever so patiently, but through somewhat clenched teeth, helped to rebuild the harder moving parts for the “waterfall”.
