Are you all tired of reading about how much I love, love, love, newborn sessions? It’s true. The combination of the privilege of being trusted by parents to capture their new babe in the first week or so of their life just never wears thin on me. Add to that the contagious excitement that’s always in the room when brand new parents are bringing home their firstborn and I say it’s a perfect session scenario for me.
Sweet Addison was only seven days old when I met her and her parents. This session included lots of rocking, shushing and white noise, and she made me work really hard for the few sleeping pictures but I loved the cuddle time holding a newborn again.
I’m so honoured to have been a part of this new family’s first few days together, and to be able to capture their love and their beautiful baby girl. Thank you to mom and dad for being so laid back and so much fun to hang out with (and for letting me move all the furniture in your living room!)
